Memory’s fiction can be found in Crab Orchard Review and Ploughshares. Her story, “The Sugar Bowl,” won the 2013 Ploughshares Magazine Emerging Writer’s Contest in Fiction and she is currently completing a novel and a collection of stories. She writes about Alabama in the 95-year-old house she shares with her husband, her daughter, and her dog. She teaches in the English department at Ohio State and lives in Clintonville. Her work was awarded an Individual Excellence Award by the Ohio Arts Council in 2016.
